Twiga Stars of Tanzania coach, Rogasian Kaijage has admitted that his team were inferior to Nigeria’s Super Falcons at the ongoing All Africa Games in Brazzaville, Congo. The East Africans suffered a 0-3 loss to the reigning African champions in the group’s match day 2 clash at the Alphonse Massamba Debat Stadium in Brazzaville.

Kaijage said the Tanzanians can only kneel down to Falcons when it comes to women’s football on the continent.

“We are not ashamed of anything Nigeria is a super power not only in African women’s football but in the world.

“For us losing to the Falcons is not a big deal because we are not anywhere near them in standard.

“We can only compete with teams like Congo and not even Ivory Coast. Nigeria and Ivory Coast are the strongest teams in African women’s football.”

“So losing to Nigeria is not a worry to us because we know they are far too much ahead of us and we cannot compete against them,” said Kaijage to completesportsnigeria.com.

Falcons who lead the group on superior goals on six points same as Ivory Coast will contest the ultimate in Saturday’s last group match against the West Africa rivals.
